Srinagar, January 21 (KNO) : J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vice President Gulam Nabi Monga on Monday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing away of veteran Congress leaders Haji Gulam Rasool Malik and Haji Abdul Ahad Malik of Drangbal Baramulla and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved families.
Gulam Nabi Monga as per a statement issued to KNO visited the residence of both the veteran Congress Activists at Drangbal Baramulla and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and praised the departed leaders for their selfless services to people of the area, besides their contribution to Congress Party.
Monga conveyed heartfelt condolences to family members of both the departed leaders and prayed for their eternal peace. On this occasion, a delegation of local population of Drangbal met Gulam Nabi Monga and apprised him of the difficulties confronting them.
The delegation expressed their serious concern over the deteriorating condition of electric poles and wire, which is causing great inconvenience to local population, as that, they have been facing unscheduled power cuts during these days of winter and sought redressal of their grievances.
Congress Vice President emphasized the Governor Administration to look into the grievances of the people and address their concern on priority basis.(KNO)
